Looks like Mr. Snyder is taking a page from the Vikings book of stupid rules. After the Vikings moved to the Metrodome in the early '80s, tailgating wasn't even allowed until Red McCombs bought the team. Then he pulled some strings and got the city of Minneapolis to allow tailgating in certain parking lots for a given amount of time. That's how it remains.
The problem is the location of the Dome... it's downtown Mpls, where there are laws on public consumption, noise, outdoor fires (grilling) etc. I go to a game or two a year, but I have more fun at home where I'm allowed to tailgate all I want!
